“The Enchantment of the Night at Petronell Castle: Cellist Harriet Krijgh Thrills with Virtuoso and Sensitive String Play”

On June 1, 2024, the unique “Notturno” gala concert took place at Petronell-Carnuntum Castle, organized by the Haydn Region of Lower Austria.

“The internationally acclaimed Dutch cellist Harriet Krijgh took the stage to shine during the technically demanding 2^nd  cello concerto by Joseph Haydn.”

“The romantic ‘Nocturne’ by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, performed by Krijgh, moved the audience so deeply that a profound silence prevailed in the hall long after the last note, before the musicians were celebrated with standing ovations and bravos.”
