Harriet Krijgh – The Cello Poetess


Musik Salon mit Harriet KrijghIn a remarkable musical event, “Presse” music critic Wilhelm Sinkovicz presents the second edition of this year’s Live Music Salon. The event took place in the Berio Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus, where the performance was enhanced by cellist Harriet Krijgh and pianist Luca Monti with their rendition of “Songs Without Words.” Many of these pieces are also featured on some of Harriet Krijgh’s excellent CDs.

In the latest podcast, Wilhelm Sinkovicz introduces the artist and founder of the “Harriet & Friends” festival, which is set to take place for the fourteenth time in Feistritz am Wechsel from June 26 to 29. He highlights some of her most impressive recordings, released under prestigious labels such as Capriccio and Deutsche Grammophon, documenting her artistic collaborations with pianist Magda Amara and the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic, conducted by Claudius Traunfellner.
