Harriet Krijgh, Baiba Skride and Andris Nelson with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig

Friday, 17th September and Sunday, 19th September, Andris Nelsons will open the 241st season of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig together with Baiba Skride, Harriet Krijgh and Martynas Levickis. They will perform the Triple Concerto for violin, violoncello, bayan and orchestra by Sofia Gubaidulina and the Symphony No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

The concert will be recorded by MDR-Rundfunk and broadcast on 24.09.2021 from 8:05 p.m. on MDR Kultur.
